The Summer of Love – 50th Anniversary

Summer of Love
It was 1967 and the San Francisco Bay Area was a magnet for young people who were questioning just about everything in their lives ~ from an their dress, hair styles, sexuality to the government’s involvement in a controversial war in Vietnam.
It was a time of experimentation with art, drugs, in musical styles, and relationships.
This summer is the 50th Anniversary of the Summer of Love. There will be a number of interesting events to celebrate this milestone in modern history. So pull out your old tie dyed clothes, put on your peace symbol jewelry, don a crown of fresh flowers and join in the fun!
Here are some sites with special activities to commemorate this milestone!
